Pro Driver Power Down Auger

The Pro Driver Auger attaches to the bottom of the driver beam and is powered with a high torque, low RPM hydraulic motor. It was designed for drilling pilot holes in hard clay, slate, shale, hard pan areas and stony ground. Many different auger sizes and head configurations are available up to 48” in length and 7” in diameter. The auger is standard equipment on all Pro Drivers.

     The Pro Driver Power Down Auger System makes the Pro Driver more efficient than ever. With the power down system, the auger is always on standby mode ready to drill-without having to manually install it on the driver rail. Along with the ease and speed of the power down, you also have hydraulic down pressure to force the auger through frozen ground, rock, and other hard
surfaces.
     On the Skid Steer mounts the power down auger is beside the driver beam allowing you to auger the pilot hole, move your skid steer 12” to the side, and then drive the post. The truck mount power down is mounted behind the driver beam. To utilize the power down, the driver is extended out to the point where you need to drill the pilot hole. After the hole is drilled, the driver is boomed back in about 10” and then you are ready to drive the posts. The truck itself does not move. The Power Down Auger carrier also doubles as the stabilizing jack for the Power Down Truck Mount unit.
