4103 Premium In-Line Wire Strainer With Spring Clip - This high quality in-line wire strainer is top of the line and first in the market. The hot dipped galvanized strap and zinc reel will give you long life. Used with the (2110) Strainer Handle it is the ideal way to tension high tensile fence wire and braces. Each In-Line Wire Strainer will keep 4000 feet of high tensile fence wire tight, decrease by 500' for each end, or corner. Use 1 In-line Strainer per high tensile wire. Depending on the configuration of the fence, you may need more than 1 set of strainers Strainers, Anchors, & Staples Remember quality is number 1. Although some In-line Strainers may look alike, not all are created equal. 4110 Tension Spring - Proper tension must be maintained on a high tensile fence to ensure that your animals stay within their boundaries. A tension spring is an economical way to know how much tension you have on your fence. Optimum tension of a high tensile fence should 250 pounds per strand. The tension spring is equipped with two notches on the spring itself. The first notch indicates 150 pounds tension the second notch is 250 pounds. After you have connected your In-Line Wire Strainer (4103), to the tension spring, you will use your Strainer Handle (2110) to ratchet or crank up the wire on the strainer which will compress the spring. When you see the second notch you know that you are at the proper tension. This tension spring is a full strength spring. It is electrogalvanized for long life. Case of 10. Spring, as you would receive it. Disassemble the spring. You will have two tug links and one coil spring . Reinstall one tug link back into the spring, and install a Premium In-Line Wire Strainer W/Spring Clip (4100) on the other tug link, and put it back inside the spring. Completed unit. 4120 & 4125 Brace Pins (5” 4120 - 4125-10”) - Brace pins are used to hold the top 4130 & 4135 horizontal to the brace posts. Made of galvanized 3/8” rod for long life. When building a single brace assembly you will use 1 10” pin and 1 5” pin. When building a double brace assembly you will use 2 10” pins and 1 5” pin. Notching the post is not recommended. A good rule of thumb to use is when building 6 wires or less a single brace assembly will be adequate. When building over six wires, a double brace assembly system is needed. 4140 - 4170 Barbed Staples - (4140-1 3/4” - 4150-2”) - 8 gauge, Class 3 galvanized hot dipped barbed staples. These Bekaert staples are the top of the line. When purchasing staples it is important to remember to use Class 3 galvanized to prevent premature rusting of the wire. Also by using a barbed staple is gives you extra holding power. Available in 1 ¼”, 1 ½”, 1 ¾” and 2” in length. Species of wood being used will help determine size of staples required. Although we currently stock the 1 ¼”, 1 ¾” and 2” available, we can special order you 1 ½” if needed.

The two fin design makes it easy to staple correctly. 5110-5120 Wraparound Insulators (5110-20” - 5120-24”) - Wraparound Insulators are stapled to end and corner posts to carry electrified wires. The aluminum insert prevents the wire from cutting the insulation when pulling it around corners. Available in 20” & 24” lengths for different size posts. Can be used to carry current under a gateway, from an energizer to the fence or as a jumper wire from one electric wire to another. Available in various length rolls, we stock the most popular size of 100' 5160-5170 Underground Lead Out Wire - Virgin resin medium density polyethylene tubing preloaded with 12-½ gauge high tensile wire. Tubing is molded to the wire to prevent water seeping into the tubing. Used to carry current under a gateway, from an energizer to the fence line or as a jumper wire from one electric wire to another. Available in various length rolls, we stock the two most popular sizes 100' and 500'. 5160 is a 100' coil and 5170 is a 500' coil. Tip: When using Underground Lead Out Wire or Insultube to go from your charger to your fence or under a gateway, put in it some type of piping.
