Spider Fencing Products
6220 Double Wedge Clips - Made of polyethylene from New Zealand, these revolutionary new clips are a 2-piece design that work on a wedge system. Designed to fit 10mm fiberglass rods (6210 Spider Line Posts) these clips do not move easily and remain on the rod even while being hit by deer. Use a Double Wedge Clip Applicator (6230) to position your clips on the rods. The large opening in the clip will accommodate not only wire, poliwire, Politape, braid but also coated wire products. 6230 Double Wedge Clip Applicator - This small tool is used to move the Double Wedge Clip ( 6220) up or down a 10-mm fiberglass rod.
6240 Nylon Driving Cap - This small white cap is to protect the ends of your fiberglass rods (10mm). Simply slide the cap over the end of the rod that is exposed from the ground, and pound it with a 5# hammer. The cap will protect the rod from splintering.
6250 Tie Back Hook - Unique spring steel “G” shaped hook used to provide constant tension for use with 16 gauge high tensile Spider wire. “G” Spring is used to tension the wire, as a gate hook, a cut out switch. This versatile tool is the heart of the Spider Fencing System.
Tip: If you ever get fiberglass filaments in your hand, simply take a ladies face mask that hardens and cover your hand with it. After the mask hardens peel it off, and the filaments will pull out with the mask.
Tip: To install your fiberglass rods evenly, pre-mark them with a felt tip pen for ground height. Then when you drive them in, drive the post to the mark on top of the ground. Then all you posts will be the proper height.
Temporary fencing is a good way to cross fence, pasture subdivide, and rotationally graze. It is also good for fencing around cornfields or pastureland after the crops have been harvested, when allowing animals to graze the remaining nutrients.
Not recommended for boundary fencing. Most temporary fencing systems do not have a high enough breaking strength for this use.

6210 50” Spider Line Posts - 50” length 100 % fiberglass rod. UV stabilized to prevent fading from the sun. 10 MM diameter. Used as a line post in the Spider Fence System. This rod is flexible, will bend almost to the ground without breaking. Uses Double Wedge Clips (6220) to secure wire to line posts. Use a Nylon Driving Cap (6240) fit it over the top of the Spider Line Post then simply pound the cap with a 5# hammer inserting the Line Post into the ground.
6200 Mastertread Post - This 100% fiberglass rod is outfitted with a steel spike and poly foot, both of which are replaceable. The Mastertread comes with one Double Wedge Clip (6220) attached. You can add additional clips if you desire. The unit will bend almost to the ground with out breaking. 40” in length designed for movement on a daily basis.
